This position is part of the BAE Systems team at the Naval Undersea Warfare Center (NUWC) Division Keyport.
There is no relocation assistance available for this position. If relocation is required the selected candidate must be willing to relocate at his/her own expense.
Account for all work items associated with engineering, reliability, maintainability, logistics, and system sustainment, and Computer-Aided Drafting and Sponsor Owned Material (SOM) management. Provide countermeasures Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) development. Ensure changes proposed are compliant with project requirements. Oversee drawing changes associated with ECPs and analyze baselines to ensure conformity. Direct assembly and test procedure development, including providing validation of the end products. Conduct supportability assessments, including defining critical parameters for review, evaluating system wellness, determining risk mitigation measures, and isolating optimal solution sets based on analysis conducted. Review all aspects of the Integrated Logistics Support/In-Service Engineering (ILS/ISE) in support of, evaluated reliability, maintainability, and availability factors to determine appropriate measures for improving life cycle supportability.
The selected individual must be a motivated team player with effective oral and written communication skills and demonstrated ability to seek answers to difficult technical problems. All candidates should have a proven track record of being able to plan, prioritize, and deliver assigned projects on time.

Required Skills and Education
Active final Secret security clearance
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), preferred or similar technical degree and minimum 5-years related and recent professional work experience
Quality Assurance experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office Professional Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access)
Preferred Skills and Education
Defense Acquisition Workforce Level III certification in Program Management or PMP
US Navy Undersea Weapons experience (counter-measures, torpedo, and Sonar)
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
